Conduct and disseminate research that responds to social work practice needs and uses ethical, culturally informed, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive strategies to advance the purposes of social work

SOCW 612: Advanced Administrative Practice: Program Development, our group came up with an extensive research plan for our program.  Our paper was entitled “Empowering Change: Addressing Homelessness, Unemployment, and Substance Abuse Among Women in Hamilton County” by Connie Bradshaw, Kaitlyn Deaux, Madison Griswold, and Amy Mejias for and the paper with our research plan can be found here on page numbers 20 – 32.  We used our social work skills and knowledge of needs assessments and research to create this research plan including research questions, hypotheses, methodology, data collection and analysis plan, and ethical considerations, while holding the social work value of competence to a high standard.
