Design and implement organizational and/or community assessments
In our monthly meeting we as a group evaluated Household Management Assessment protocol related to case management. One of the issues brought up was how case management should be handled for the resident during the HMA, if it should be handled by the caseworkers doing the HMA or by the regular site caseworker. Using my social work skill and knowledge of assessments, I offered to create a Google form so that the members of the resident engagement team and vote on which option they feel would be best for the distribution of casework in regard to the HMA visits and use the social work value of service. I then sent that out to the team and shared the results with my manager. I used the cognitive processes of problem solving and planning and the affective processes of collaboration and teamwork. The theoretical framework used was collaborative decision making models.
