Design and implement social action strategies that demonstrate social, racial, economic; and environmental justice<\/span><\/h3>\n

In the Advanced Social Policy (SOSW-609) course, we had a group project where we had to reintroduce a piece of legislation that had failed to pass in congress.\u00a0 Our group chose a piece of legislation that was anti-bullying, but we added a restorative justice aspect to the piece.\u00a0 By using social justice<\/strong> and the Social Ecological Model<\/strong> to reintroduce this anti-bullying legislation with a restorative justice aspect, our group aimed to address a social issue that affects individuals across various demographics which also promotes racial, economic, and environmental justice. Part of this project was to make a fact sheet with information for our campaign to reintroduce this bill.\u00a0 Using my social work skills<\/strong> of policy knowledge<\/strong> and advocacy skills<\/strong>, I created the fact sheet below.\u00a0 I used the cognitive processes<\/strong> of applying <\/b>and understanding<\/strong> and the affective process<\/strong> of responding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
