Using the <strong>social work value<\/strong>\u00a0of <strong>service<\/strong>, the resident engagement team went door to door in the Westside neighborhood to survey and assess the residents regarding their future plans once the Westside Evolves construction begins as well as after it is completed, in which I used the <strong>social work skills<\/strong> of <strong>community engagement<\/strong> and <strong>cultural competence <\/strong>and the <strong>social work knowledge<\/strong> I used was of <strong>community development<\/strong>.\u00a0 I had to use the <strong>cognitive skills<\/strong> of <b>applying <\/b>and the<strong> affective processes<\/strong> of <b>responding<\/b><strong>.<\/strong> The <strong>theoretical framework<\/strong> used was the <strong>community development theory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Survey Questions: <a href=\"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/files\/2024\/01\/WESTSIDE-2-1.pdf\">WESTSIDE 2 (1)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Survey Results: <a href=\"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/files\/2024\/01\/SurveyandPhasingPresentation10.12.2023-1.pdf\">SurveyandPhasingPresentation10.12.2023 (1)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Design and implement organizational and\/or community assessments As part of my advanced year practicum, I worked as part of a community assessment through the Chattanooga Housing Authority.
