{"id":375,"date":"2024-01-31T23:38:46","date_gmt":"2024-01-31T23:38:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/?page_id=375"},"modified":"2024-07-27T21:13:21","modified_gmt":"2024-07-27T21:13:21","slug":"field-evidence-for-practice-behavior-1-4","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/competencies\/competency-1-demonstrate-ethical-and-professional-behavior\/field-evidence-for-practice-behavior-1-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Course Evidence for Practice Behavior 1.4"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrate professional oral and written communication skills<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In the Advanced Administration Practice (SOCW-618) class, we had group project where we came up with an organization, and in this project we had to record a final presentation video using <strong>professional oral skills<\/strong> to <strong>inform<\/strong>, <strong>advocate<\/strong>, and make a case for financial support for our organization.\u00a0 Earlier in the semester, I also had used <strong>professional written communication skills<\/strong> to write a Case for Support Letter to try and achieve the same objective as the video mentioned above.\u00a0 In both of these projects, I had used the <strong>social work values<\/strong> of the <strong>importance of human relationships<\/strong> and <strong>competence<\/strong> to guide me.
