{"id":659,"date":"2024-04-12T23:11:43","date_gmt":"2024-04-12T23:11:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/?page_id=659"},"modified":"2024-07-27T21:30:21","modified_gmt":"2024-07-27T21:30:21","slug":"course-evidence-for-practice-behavior-6-2-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/competencies\/competency-6-engage-with-individuals-families-groups-organizations-and-communities\/course-evidence-for-practice-behavior-6-2-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Course Evidence For Practice Behavior 6.1"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;font-size: 10pt\">Examine evidence-based practices to prepare for professional engagement across systems<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>During the Advanced Social Policy (SOSW-609) class, part of our group project involved us coming up with a positional map of detractors and supporters, and opponents and proponents for the reintroduction of SB0916.\u00a0 Using the s<strong>ocial work skills and knowledge<\/strong> of <strong>critical thinking<\/strong> and <strong>strategic planning<\/strong>, we put together this map to help us to identify the stakeholders who may advocate for our bill, helping us to prepare for who may be a challenge for us, and overall to be able to lead us on our advocacy strategies while recognizing <strong>the importance of these human relationships<\/strong>.
