{"id":9,"date":"2023-04-16T00:36:48","date_gmt":"2023-04-16T00:36:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/?p=9"},"modified":"2024-03-16T00:36:07","modified_gmt":"2024-03-16T00:36:07","slug":"self-care-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swpro.org\/amymejias\/2023\/04\/16\/self-care-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Self-Care Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s5\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">There <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s5\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">are<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s5\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> already several things that I currently do for self-care, as well as actions that I plan to add to my self-care plan. \u00a0For my mind, I already try and take vacations and little getaways throughout the year in order to escape the everyday pressures of life and enjoy something new. \u00a0I plan on adding to this by <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">taking more time away from electronics, such as my phone, as well as more time for self-reflection. \u00a0For my body, my current practice which I hope to be consistent with and to continue on doing is exercising daily, keeping my weight down, and drinking enough water.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s8\">\u200b<span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">For emotions, my current practice is spending time with others whose company I enjoy, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">identifying<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> comforting activities, objects, people, places and <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">seeking<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> them out, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">allowing<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> myself to cry,<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> and<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> find<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">ing<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> things that make me laugh<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">. \u00a0I hope to add to that practice by including giving myself affirmations, praising myself, loving myself, and staying in contact with important people in my life. \u00a0For spirituality, my current practice is being aware of non-material aspects of life, identifying what is meaningful to me and noticing its place in my life, and having experiences of awe. \u00a0I hope to improve my spirituality by taking more time to meditate and pray, find a spiritual community, try not to be in charge, and read inspirational literature.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s8\">\u200b<span class=\"s7\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">For work, my current practice is taking time to chat with coworkers, and also quiet time to complete tasks. \u00a0I plan to add to that by taking more breaks, setting limits, and better balance. \u00a0For relationships, I currently participate in regular activities with my children, check on others, and spend time with my dog. \u00a0I plan to add more time to see friends, enlarging my social circle, and better contact with far away friends.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are already several things that I currently do for self-care, as well as actions that I plan to add to my self-care plan. \u00a0For my mind, I already try and take vacations and little getaways throughout the year in &hellip;
