By using this model and showing <strong>empath<\/strong>y and active <strong>listening skills<\/strong>, I helped clients <strong>stabilize<\/strong> and be able to start thinking about their recovery process. Using the suicide assessment allowed me to ensure that the clients did not have a plan and a <strong>low lethality.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A journal entry from the week of May 5, 2024<\/p>\n<div class=\"idValueContainer wrap-value\" aria-controls=\"popup_c_oNena8N\"><span class=\"idTextStyling\"><a class=\"idValue inline-text\" role=\"button\">&#8220;I had a couple of clients this week who expressed that they did not know how they could live with the amount of damage that was done by the storm. They were very distraught and were having a hard time answering my questions. I did a quick suicide assessment to ensure that they did not have a plan to commit suicide.
