Giving a Talk on a Discussion Panel- Volunteer Assistant Dean

As an adult volunteer assistant dean on a discussion panel with high school students, I had the opportunity to delve into the connection between spirituality and social work. Through open dialogue, I shared how spiritual principles such as compassion, empathy, and service can influence community engagement and personal growth. While the students may not be considering social work careers, these discussions provided them with valuable insights into how spiritual values can shape ethical decision-making and contribute to positive social impact, regardless of their chosen paths.

Vacation Bible School- Volunteer Coordinator

As the volunteer coordinator for Vacation Bible School, I organized and facilitated activities that aimed to create a fun and enriching experience for children. Through engaging lessons, games, and crafts, we explored various themes centered around biblical teachings. By fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, we encouraged children to develop their spiritual growth and interpersonal skills while forming lasting connections with their peers and mentors. Through teamwork and creativity, we aimed to make each day of Vacation Bible School a memorable and meaningful experience for all participants.
