*2A: Develop and implement strategies that strive to eradicate discrimination in any form 

My biggest challenge was navigating between sexual preferences and I feel very blessed to have the support of my task supervisor and my school to guide me through that challenge. I also feel my self-awareness and self-regulation has increased and developed throughout my internship. The skills provided in the program and with trainings at work is a great asset to have. I feel I have been successful at this even though it has been one my most difficult hurdles to cross; I know I can be empathetic to all diversities now.

*2B: Implement evidence-based and culturally-informed strategies with diverse populations –  Academically students were provided support and resources to provide more information for diverse populations. A PowerPoint presentation was developed regarding awareness and the ACE score. During my internship, I was able to learn more regarding religion beliefs and if mental health was accepted within the community.
