Academic Evidence: During the course, Mental Health Emphasis course, we were engaged in the Ursula Whiteside training for suicide and DBT. The training provided information and an easy go to if needing to be reminding of techniques and alternatives to work with the clients.

Field Evidence: The provided field evidence of competency nine has been beneficial for the assistance of knowing the assessment tool and if beneficial to accurately diagnose a client. I feel the current and most up to date assessment tool in the Credible system is accurate. The tool provides questions to not only get the present tense of the clients lives but also their past. I have realized more information regarding past events, clients tend to have several diagnoses in common.

Academic Evidence: During my academic year, we were engaged in a Clinical class that discussed the importance of diagnosis and tools provided online to access if needed.
Field Evidence: During my internship, the assessment provided in the Credible system was reported to have effectiveness for diagnosis. Depending on the questions, it determined symptoms and their length of time in symptoms. The development of the assessment was across the company and all departments were able to access it.
