Some have engaged in CBT while others have utilized EMDR. I have obtained information on each modality and desire to utilize in my future career as a social worker. However, I have realized EMDR therapy is intensive and requires additional training to be certified. I feel this would be a great step for me!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/certificate-of-completion-for-making-it-matter-with-micro-interventions.pdf\">certificate-of-completion-for-making-it-matter-with-micro-interventions.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>*4B: Conduct research that responds to social work practice needs: <\/strong>\u00a0During my education, I was able to engage in multiple training videos showing CBT and EMDR therapy. I was also provided the access to CITI training for plagiarism, research misconduct, and research involving human subjects. Throughout my practicum, several clients reported engaging in EMDR therapy before the COVID-19 pandemic but unable to continue during. Due the physical need for the client and therapist to be in person, EMDR therapy was reported by therapist of it&#8217;s ineffectiveness.
