One Year Plan<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I plan to become licensed as an LMSW after earning my MSW in August 2021. My goal is to achieve this licensure before the end of 2021 as I have recently transitioned into a level 3 foster care therapist role at Omni Visions. I want to begin accruing supervised clinical hours once I become an LMSW which is possible in my current position. I hope to remain in the foster care field as I continue advancing my licensure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Five Year Plan<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Over the next five years, I plan to accrue the 3,000 supervised clinical hours necessary for the LCSW licensure. I hope to maintain my full-time therapy position in the foster care field that will allow me to complete the required hours and pass the LCSW board exam by 2025. During these five years, I will also seek additional training programs focused on complex trauma and relevant evidence-based treatment interventions since I ultimately want to be an LCSW specializing in trauma.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ten Year Plan<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I hope to join a private practice within ten years. In private practice, I would like to continue to work with foster and non-foster youth and families with trauma, attachment issues, and family dynamic. Additionally, I would also like to include work with women focusing on partner violence, eating disorders, body image, alcohol and substance abuse, and self-esteem. Another goal is to be involved on the macro level by collaborating with foster care agencies to provide trauma and resiliency training that could benefit this target population.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
