Hello and welcome to my portfolio site. My name is Courtney Krajesky and I have been working to complete my MSW at Southern Adventist University. I was born in Chattanooga Tennessee and have resided in the area for the majority of my life. My greatest passion in life is helping those around me overcome some of life’s many obstacles while advocating and promoting positive change.While I take special interest in working with a vast array of populations, children have my heart.Therefore, I chose an emphasis in School Social Work. For children, social workers are on the frontline of protecting them from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation, keeping them safely together with their families and promoting their wellbeing and this is where I find that I am called to serve. Many children are disproportionately served and are left without a voice and I find it to be my professional responsibility to assist those in need.
