Hello! My name is Erin Bennett and I would like to welcome you to my social work portfolio site. Thank you for taking the time to view my portfolio which will reflect my academic and professional accomplishments. My journey at Southern Adventist University began in January 2019 and was completed August 2021. During my time in the Master’s of Social Work program, I completed internships at a community-based human services organization and a faith-based non-profit organization in Georgia. The opportunity to continue my growth and development, under the supervision of competent social workers has shaped my professional self. I am passionate about all aspects of social work, however, I find myself gravitating toward mental health. I am interested in working as a therapist and I look forward to continuing my professional growth as I enter the field.

Personal Mission Statement 

  As a professional social worker my mission is to be a positive light for those who are marginalized while collaborating, connecting, and advocating for their overall well-being. I desire to bring hope, empowerment, and transformation to those I serve while affirming their importance.
