Career Overview
My passion for social work began during my time at the Division of Family and Children Services. My two and a half year experience as a foster care case manager brought me to new realizations of the disadvantaged and marginalized populations. I quickly concluded that I wanted to pursue my MSW so I could become knowledgeable in effectively serving clients and making real change. Through this experience I have become passionate about trauma- informed care and mental health. Completing the MSW program at Southern Adventist University has shaped my professional self and I look forward to beginning my journey as an MSW.
