Salvation Army Street Store | 2017 & 2018 & 2019

• As president of the social work club, I organized, collected donations, participated in, and raised awareness about the street store in downtown Chattanooga which provided our homeless population with a dignified shopping experience for the past three years.

 

 

 

 

 

Chambliss Home Volunteer | 2017 & 2018

• The social work club planned an afternoon where we went into classrooms to assist teachers by cleaning, feeding the children, playing games, and with overall supervision.

 

 

 

Feed My Starving Children | 2017.    

• I had the opportunity to make and package hundreds of boxes with food for children overseas who did not have any. This picture shows the group of social work majors that I volunteered with.

 

 

 

 

 

Nursing Home Visit | 2017

• Through the social work club, I was able to volunteer and visit with residents at a local nursing home. We handed out flowers, talked with, and spent time with residents who may have not had anyone to visit them.

 

 

 

 

 

Pathways to Health, Pheonix Arizona | 2017

• I participated with this organization over Christmas to provide free physical health care to the under-served in Pheonix Arizona. I volunteered in the exit management department as well as assisted with basic ASL interpreting when needed.
