This took the form of our financial literacy project for a low-income Hispanic population as seen in the <a href=\"https:\/\/swpro.org\/mike\/files\/2012\/07\/Project-Proposal-Assisting-Spanish-Community1.pdf\">project proposal<\/a>. All cohort members took a leadership role on some aspect of the project, as seen in <a href=\"https:\/\/swpro.org\/mike\/files\/2012\/07\/GroupMeetingMinutes3.pdf\">Group Meeting Minutes I<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/swpro.org\/mike\/files\/2012\/07\/Group-5-Meeting-Minutes-9-18-2011.pdf\">Group Meeting Minutes II<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Spearheading changes in service delivery and practice to improve the quality of social services for\u00a0veterans\u00a0of the armed services. Much of this leadership was in the area of <a href=\"https:\/\/swpro.org\/mike\/files\/2012\/07\/Policy-Concept-Paper.pdf\">policy practice<\/a>. I also had the opportunity to develop <a href=\"https:\/\/swpro.org\/mike\/files\/2012\/07\/PTSD-Curriculum1.pdf\">an entire curriculum<\/a> for a class on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Students of the class will learn theoretical and practical approaches to clinical practice with military families, an overview of common social issues in the military system, and demands on the family dynamic upon return and PTSD diagnosis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>b. Adapt best practices to improve practice outcomes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>Learning evidenced by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 12.9973726272583px\">Recording progress notes of interactions with clients, evaluating progress to adapt practices to improve practice outcomes.
