Mission Statement:

“I am only one, but I am still one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”

-Edward Everett Hale

About Me: My name is Savannah Grignon. I am a senior social work student at Southern Adventist University. I am from the state of Michigan, but have really enjoyed my time in the south these past four years while I was at school. I was called to the field of social work through my grandmother. Due to health complications including a brain aneurysm and cancer, my grandma spent a lot of time in the hospital and rehabilitation facilities. During her recovery, social workers were there to help her and our family with all of the transitions we needed to make. Even though my grandma eventually passed away, I wanted to become a social worker so that I could help the grandparent’s of others, the same way social workers helped us.
