My name is Tim Burton and welcome to my social work portfolio site. These pages will reflect on accomplishments that I have made both academically and professionally, including the hands-on work that I have done for the completion of my Master of Social Work degree from Southern Adventist University. I have interned in geriatric social work at Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and in hospice social work at Hearth Hospice in Chattanooga.

The Jewish Talmad states that, “Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly now. Love mercy now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.”

My goal is to be undaunted as I continue to engage with and advocate for those in need and to strive to be the hands (and feet) of Christ. Thank you for visiting my online portfolio. In viewing these pages, I hope that you gain a greater understanding of my professional self through accessing important documents, experiences, and special projects that have facilitated this development.
