My name is Daniel and I have fallen in love with the social work profession during the course of my education and cannot think of a better way to spend my life! As a social worker it is a privilege to be there for individuals and families in their time of need.
On this site you will find a brief look into what I have experienced in my growth as a Social Work student at Southern Adventist University. Mission Statement:
I feel I have been called to be a social worker; my mission is to work with individuals and families and help them achieve their personal goals. Due to my life experiences I developed a special interest in helping veterans and Latino children and youth.
Professional Goals:
- Continue ongoing education and needed certifications to enable me to work clinically with a variety of populations of interest such as veterans, families, and children.
- Increase cultural competence to empower the Latino population in mental health recovery.
