My Plans

Future Plans

One Year:

Upon graduating with my MSW degree, I plan to gain experience working in a clinical or hospital setting, and develop my skills in counseling. In addition, I will be volunteering my services at Mpowered; the maternal mental health for-profit that I completed my 500-hour field experience. Together with my field instructor Catie Whiting, I will participate as co-host on our Podcast “The Motherhood Dilemma”.

Five Years:

Over the next five years I plan to get my LCSW, and gain experience working at a counseling clinic or in a clinical setting. I will create an online wellness community where I can spread awareness about the connection between nutritional/physical health and mental health.

Ten Years:

In ten years I plan to either be a director of a program through an agency, or start an organization that serves my local community. Furthermore, I hope to have my certification in equine-assisted therapy so that I can provide these services for my clients.

Self-Care Philosophy

I believe self-care needs to be implemented from the moment you wake up, throughout the day, and until you fall asleep that night. Self care is a lifestyle that I strive to follow by implementing daily, weekly, and monthly habits that can help my body, mind, and soul THRIVE. Below are my personalized Self-Care Laws that I live by. This is a collection of habits that I choose to make a priority because I have found that they help me to function and feel my best!
