Field Evidence for Practice Behavior 8.2

INTEGRATE MACRO-LEVEL evidence-based strategies with organizations and/or communities

Chattanooga Housing Authority’s Resident Engagement team has two software systems: Elite, which the whole company uses and stores all the most up-to-date information from the sites, and Family Metrics, which is our case notes software.  In order for us to be able to link our case notes to the clients correctly and therefore be able to serve both the residents and CHA more efficiently, we need the most up to date resident information in Family Metrics, which assures our competence in case management. This is why I created, with some help from another Resident Engagement member, these standard operating procedures to let all current and future Resident Engagement staff members know how to update new residents as well as residents that have moved in the system.  I used the cognitive processes of creating and the affective process of responding to the need of standard operating procedures being created for this use. I used an organizational theory in order to guide my completion of this.
