Hello! My name is Claire Ashcraft and I completed both my Bachelors and Masters degree at Southern Adventist University. I have experience working with all ages in many different environments including daycares, nursing facilities for the elderly, schools, both group and personal/private homes and offices. I also have an excellent ability to evaluate client needs to locate and provide resources
My mission as a social worker is to make a difference in the lives of children. Everyday children come in contact with broken systems and too often this leaves scars on their souls. I want to mend the broken hearts of these young children. I want to make a difference in their lives.
As an adopted child, I know what it is like to feel alone. I want to use this insight to work with children who know the same pain. I want to take that pain away. If I can spend the rest of my life making other people’s lives better, I can look back and know that I have accomplished my mission.
