My name is Sydney Shaw, and welcome to my social work portfolio site. These pages will display the accomplishments I have made, both personally and professionally. I have included my practicum experiences and other work I have completed to attain my Master of Social Work degree from Southern Adventist University.

About me

I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology from University of Chattanooga of Tennessee and a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. 

I’m currently employed at Tennessee Department of Children’s Services as a Team Leader in the Special Investigations Unit and have worked for DCS for almost the past decade.  

I want to work with vulnerable individuals that have experienced significant trauma and help them learn how to cope and lead happy and fulfilling lives.
