During my grad studies, I served as the Assistant Treasurer for the Tennessee State University (TSU) Alumni: Chattanooga Chapter. As a graduate of Tennessee States University in 2016 I choose to give back to my university by volunteering with other alumni to create an open environment for interested and upcoming freshmen seeking to enroll. In this role, I utilized my social work skills to demonstrate ethical and professional behavior while advocating for human rights and social, racial, economic, and environmental justice. As a treasurer, I upheld financial transparency, accountability, and integrity in managing funds. This position required me to advocate for equitable resource distribution, aligning with core social work values. Through responsible budget oversight and funding allocation, I contributed to sustaining programs that support marginalized communities and promote systemic change.
