Social workers strive to only utilize evidenced based practices as professionals. In order to uphold this standard, research is pivotal. An understanding of how to apply quantitative and qualitative research to interventions and evaluations is demonstrated. Through this process, social workers integrate scientific inquiry, logic, and ethical practices to their endeavor to increase research. Information may come from a variety of sources, and social workers must know how to adeptly apply data from research to practical interventions to address real-life situations.
