My name is Darcee, and I love people, adventure, laughter, and above all Jesus Christ!
The more I have gotten to know His unbridled love for me, the more I passionately desire to show His love to others.
I feel deeply called to advocate and care for those who are oppressed. I believe that the profession of social work is providing an excellent foundation for me to do just that.
I have discovered that true joy and purpose are found in serving others.
Mission Statement:
With my whole heart, I will “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…” (Matthew 6:33). In doing this, I will strive to instill hope, transformation, and peace by intentionally loving those around me.
Professional Goals:
- Graduate with my Masters in Social Work.
- Obtain my LCSW.
- Empathize with those who have endured painful experiences, engage them in a healing process, and empower them to use their stories in turn to help others.
