At the Chattanooga Purpose Center, I work with local churches and community members to bring CarePortal to Hamilton County. This partnership will enable vulnerable children and their families to meet their tangible needs while support is also offered through relationships to meet the family’s social and emotional needs. We use the Empowerment Theory when combating the social and economic injustice that these families and children face. In connection with CarePortal, Chattanooga Purpose Center will significantly impact the hurting youth and families in Hamilton County by creating a far-reaching support system for those who need it to keep their families together.
