Introduction:  As a social worker, I stay informed of policies that affect my clients. By diligently staying engaged in policy practice in my community and workforce, I assess the need for policy interventions to ensure there is an eradication of policies that deprive people in my community and workplace of their dignity and worth. I use research to develop and advocate for the needed intervention to combat the anti-oppressive issue.
