During the Crisis and Emergency Management I course, I created a case conceptualization from a film where the character had experienced a crisis using the information I learned in my Clinical and Crisis and Emergency Management courses to understand how a crisis affected a client’s mental health. The case conceptualization included a treatment plan for the client, and I had to listen and organize the shared information for this assignment to create a case conceptualization effectively. The character uses emotional decision-making instead of logic due to the crisis she has experienced due to a social injustice caused by the lack of resources to combat malaria.
