In Advanced Clinical, I engaged with clients during a psychotherapy group, using the skills I learned in clinical courses to create a warm, cohesive setting. By creating this setting, I could engage the clients and start teaching coping skills and reframing to facilitate change in the clients from Cognitive Theory.
